Original filter bag for BOA filtration system since 1998
This filter bag is suitable for all BOA filtration systems since 1998 and for the D-PUR filtration system.
The upper double ring is supplied with the bag.
Installation instructions for the BOA filtration system:
The DECALZ97 is the current filter bag, since 1998. It has a removable double plastic ring.
2 to 3 times a week, clean the filter with a strong jet: attach a nozzle to the garden hose to obtain a sufficiently powerful jet.
Use one filter at a time, do not brush it!
From time to time, soak the filter in a solution of FILTERCLEANER or DECALCIT FILTRE. Rinse well.
Never use flocculant (there is flocculant in "all-in-one" products for sand filters)! When you notice that the water is no longer sucked up correctly or, worse, that the suction hose tends to pinch even though you have regularly cleaned the filter, it is time to throw it away.
Clues:
the cartridge is heavy
when you immerse the cleaned filter bag and take it out of the water, it does not empty instantly
the floating head of the skimmer no longer "jumps" when the pump is running and the water seems to stagnate on the skimmer
A filter should be changed approximately every 6 weeks (The used filter should be thrown in the trash. Use one filter at a time)
The frequency depends on the length of the season, the rate of use of the pool, the water temperature and also the care taken in treating the water and cleaning the filter, but it will be changed all the more frequently if you want impeccable water. Start each season with a new filter. You will find it easier because a clogged filter no longer lets water through and it is ultimately the pump that "pays the price".
Comments:
Pollen clogs a filter in no time, dust and limescale too!
Hard water? Use a water hardness stabilizer (Calcinex Pool) Advantages: Prevents limescale deposits on the pool walls and accessories; avoids possible limescale precipitation. Helps stabilize the pH level. Effective and inexpensive.
