Decalcit Filter cleaner 1kg

Powdered descaler for sand filters, designed to remove dirt and limescale deposits from within the sand filter.

Hydrochloric acid-free.

Use this product strictly in accordance with the instructions on the packaging. Deep descaling: 1 to 2 times per year.

Sand filter:

• With filtration turned off, close all pipeline valves (skimmer, main drain, waste line, return line, etc.) and open the tank lid.
• Spread a 10% solution (100 g per 1 L of water) of Decalcit Filter over the sand.
• Leave to act for at least 12 hours with filtration off and the filter open (to allow for gas release).
• Close the filter, open all valves, then perform a backwash and rinse the filter.

Cartridge filter (or diatomaceous earth filter):

• Soak the cartridge (or the filter elements/fingers of the diatomaceous earth filter) overnight in a 10% solution of Decalcit Filter (1 kg per 10 L of water), then rinse thoroughly.

Warnings: Never mix different chemicals in their concentrated form. Avoid spilling Decalcit Filter into the pool water; upon contact with chlorine, Decalcit Filter creates chloramines. Always add the product to the water, never the other way around.
